What is it? This is a one-off project to get the employer to a place where all employee records are held and managed centrally in a market-leading HR system called breatheHR.  Registered charities can benefit from free breatheHR licences.  With licences available for micro business right through to businesses with 250 staff, everyone can get value and streamline their transactional HR processes with breatheHR.


a)    HR Savvy manages the entire implementation of the system, from configuration, records set-up and training of key users.

b)    The employer chooses to run their own implementation without HR Savvy’s expertise and purchase the breatheHR licence only.

c)    If the client does not wish to take an Employment Savvy bundle, they may want to outsource the activity to keep the system up-to-date and to enter sickness absence, new starters, leavers and handle holiday, training and disciplinary records accurately.  

d)    Alternatively, you may choose to take our Pay As You Go option and access the advice and systems expertise as and when required.

Why Use it? To be legally compliant with the Data Protection Act and the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).  To nip employment problems in the bud early.  To improve employee engagement. To reduce the risk of an employment tribunal claim. To help your managers be more accountable for their staff.  To stop the management and control of holidays and sickness absence taking up so much of your time.

What happens if you don’t use it?  Without an online HR system, employers will be open to risks around Data Protection and steep fines from the ICO.  Under the new GDPR due in May 2018, these fines are expected to rise to staggering levels putting many businesses at risk of bankruptcy.
