First we get the lowdown on Tracey, Managing Director and Founder of HR Savvy.
The HR seed was first planted with me after experiencing first-hand some pretty bad behaviours and practices in an organisation that really should have known better. Then about a year later, in 1998, I was working with a very experienced and talented HR Director who was very skilled in handling relationships with trade unions - and he encouraged me to consider a future in HR. I was on a mission to be a role model for my daughter so I signed up to start my CIPD studies straight away and 4 years later I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management. Within 12 months of graduating I was in a senior HR role in a global insurance company where I then remained until 2012.

Apart from the fact that I am usually up around 5am to walk the dog, at a yoga class most evenings and in bed for 10pm, the rest of my day is never typical. In a typical week I will have held our regular meeting with my team; attended at least one networking meeting, met with, delivered proposals or had telephone calls with business owners who are considering our services and spoken with our suppliers or partners about future strategy delivery.
